They effectively sweep what happened to Sue under the rug and it's not really talked about. The producers kinda bribe her with a makeover at the reunion and they do not address it (besides having Rob C sit between Sue and Hatch). And I agree that I was very disappointed with many of the players' reactions. IIRC, the people who showed the most respect for Sue were Shii-Ann and Alicia but their thoughts are featured very briefly.

Lex has said revealed some behind-the-scenes details in an AMA but that most certainly has spoilers for All Stars so I would avoid it. Also, IMO, I feel that what Lex said doesn't fully take into account that there is no rational way to react to sexual assault and it feels a little "blamey".

Also, I will say that the winner of All Stars and the events that happen in the later part of the season are extremely impactful to Survivor. I would honestly argue that it is possibly the most important win in Survivor history. So I would say it's important to finish if you feel comfortable progressing.
