To all those who have dealt with covert narcissists...

1. Please don't ever assume anything about me. Writing clear and concise responses that have substance rather than 3 sentence replies and ignoring 99% of the other information shows 0 respect. This isn't cherry pick what you want to respond to, then go attack someone for being thorough.

2. You haven't backed up any of your claims from the start. I have noted there are books, authors, and peer-evidence that show covert narcissists are the most insidious abusers and there are no way to simply "see flags and learn." You still don't seem to understand this.

3. You are absolutely wrong with covert narcissists, on practically every level. "Still noticable when you call it by name and spot patterns." Do you not understand what the basics of manipulation are? Did you even read the previous post about how you were NOT dealing with a covert narcissist if that were the case? Covert narcissist abuse patterns are NOT noticeable - that's why you have people all over therapy, Reddit, and the rest of the Internet spending 1000s of hours and $1000s of dollars working through covert narcissistic abuse.

Please, read literature on covert narcissists or talk to an expert. I've spent nearly $1500/month with world reknown narcissistic abuse experts. There's a reason this post was upvoted the way it was. It tells you the truth about covert narcissism. There are no ways to prepare - and there are no noticable signs or symptoms.
