[All] What do you think happened to Ray?

I think one way to think about it is that the show incorporates (as Frost once stated) the entirety of 'the human experience', which is a on a scale from extreme negativity to extreme positivity. It is jarring when you go from Lucy in the office to BANG - Mr. C driving. And yet despite the show being full of surrealism, in some ways there's more 'reality' or 'truth' to these juxtapositions and this narrative that simultaneously feels deconstructed and carefully coordinated. In life there are connections, and there are random events - 'somethings things can happen, just like that *click*'. Some connections we understand, some we don't, and everyone's experience is unique to themselves. It is sad indeed to think about the negativity and darkness in the world. Electricity is fire, and fire simultaneously gives life, light and warmth, but also death, pain, suffering. But we can still make our peace with the world we live in and accept it for what it is. We came out of non-existence into this vessel of experience, and one day will go back to that plane of non-existence (and who knows, we didn't exist once before, and then we were born, so who's to say it won't happen again). But while we're here it's all pretty incredible.
