The particular person I'm responding in this subthread isn't who I mean (they were actually the first relatively positive comment, so scroll down) but:

It's pretty interesting the sort of dismissive posts certain atheists will throw at you if you aren't flaired up as an atheist the moment you try to engage with religion in certain ways.

Apparently they think that telling us for the thousandth time that none of it can be verified at all is a necessary addition.

This always happens.

I almost want to flair up, because I assume they would treat atheists better, but I almost spitefully don't want to let them win. Imagine what it must be like for theists to hear this constantly when they try to earnestly engage.
