Allergic to enbrel.

Thanks. I wanted the doc to know I would give it a good shake so I muscled through. She asked me during the appointment what I was doing for pain and I told her nothing. Nothing? Yep because nobody gave me anything, remember? She kinda shook her head and told me to try Tylenol, which is nice but just kinda shows that docs don't get it and won't really get it unless you go through the motions and try to comply with what they give you.

It's frustrating to feel so awful that all you want to do is lay down so the pain stops but keep driving yourself to get up, go to work etc. I'm actually researching wheelchairs, pt, home nursing aids, etc for if (when) this gets worse so it doesn't take me by surprise. If I get worse I do have access to more services which will help me and probably put me better off than where I'm at now, injecting meds that I'm allergic to and getting sloshed around on the subway and trying to get by with pain that would probably knock out a grown healthy man. Oh well.
