allo dating an ace, looking for advice

no this was genuinely super helpful, thank you!

I have gotten her to open up about having various insecurities about sex and assured her that I'm not gonna leave no matter what. I told her that I literally don't care if it's bad or whatever, she could literally look at my thigh and I'd lose my mind lmao. and she actually seems really confident in wanting to try things and being secure in her asexuality, and she likes when I find her sexy and tell her that. like, she loves that. I think this is all partially why it's so confusing. like she seems like she really wants to try things and is open, and I've told her we can take things slow and just try things out, you know? like, we had a long talk where I gave her examples of types of things we can do that don't involve like literal penetration lol and she said it made her a lot more comfortable and excited. but that was in like February lol. I like don't know how else to approach things and I don't know how many times I can bring things up with her you know? like I just feel like I try so hard to be respectful of her feelings and needs, and be gentle and patient, but I'm just kind of met with no effort, even though she says she wants to. (again, if she didn't want to have sex ever, full stop, that would be okay, and ive told her that so many times). idk I hope I don't sound shitty :/
