Alluka's introduction and why I think it weakens the show as a whole. (spoilers)

I understood your point man. Mine is simply that just because you view this arc as the most important doesn’t make it so. I mean do you seriously think that whatever Togashi cooks up next isn’t going to be just or more exciting for some people? So again I seriously don’t think he’s making a big move by removing Gon and Killua for this arc. We are going to see them again obviously, and it’s going to be fun.

I never said future arcs couldn't be exciting, just that this current saga/arc whatever is the most important thus far from a worldbuilding and story progression standpoint. Will you disagree with that? The world has completely opened, Ging [the goal for most of the series] looks to be top billing for DC, literally every character is on-board, Kurapika's story is nearing its final stages, ancestors from hundreds of years ago are being introduced. The series has broadened so much.

And about the rest, I seriously think Alluka having to touch Gon was simply just so Togashi could actually have Killua head that way, their would have been basically no arc if Alluka could have just done it from the Zoldyck mansion.

Nanika has to touch the person it heals, regardless of the damage. This is proven when it touches Tsubone's hand to heal it in the forest.

Now put that with the actual other evidence we’ve seen like Alluka fixing a gigantic nen restriction that nobody could fix, not to mention the insane aura that everybody felt. And that she can make people rich as we’ve seen easily, and lastly Killua who knows the most about Alluka’s powers telling us theirs probably no limit. With all that yes I’m going to go ahead and assume Killua can probably ask about anything from Alluka and it will happen. Including getting his family off his back, therefore yes with evidence I will say Togashi has kinda written himself into a corner. Sure I think it’s a pretty easy fix. But I’m talking about right now it’s a pretty convenient situation for Killua and Gon.

Let me clear my point up. I'm not saying that Nanika can't grant extraordinary wishes regardless of restrictions, what I'm ultimately saying is that I don't think Togashi will put Nanika in a position to be able to grant the wishes that will be beneficial to Killua in his struggle against their family - and this would make sense seeing as Killua didn't actually say Nanika's powers are infinite. Not to mention that a precedent has been set that Nanika finds certain wishes harder than others. Healing Gon could very much be an easier wish than wiping someones mind, it's clearly not so much about how big the wish is but just what Nanika finds difficult - and this is proven by Nanika still needing to touch Tsubone to heal her despite it being a damaged nail at most.

Killua won't be able to get out of the hole he's in via a wish, because not only would that remove any tension from a conflict that has been building since the birth of the series, but if he could free Alluka just like that he would of done it already. It's storytelling 101. He doesn't want to abuse her power, but Alluka's safety is his priority. If he could permanently stop some madman who he's massively outclassed against that's trying to take the person he loves most in the world, it would of happened by now.
