Almost 180 degree wraparound golf simulator

That is a good idea, especially when setting up for shaped shots.

Something I've come to realize is that standing at address starting at the ball is like being a pilot of a plane flying in the clouds IFR , trusting the little artificial horizon ball on the dash to keep the winds level.

What happens if the instruments fail? The pilot will get disoriented and crash. Same thing in the swing when the ball disappears off the ground if one fixates on the ball for balance / distance to ball orientation visually.

Sam Snead realized that, somewhere on YouTube there is an old news real film of him showing how he would turn his face backwards and look at a spot on the ground over the ball, not the ball, to stay in balance.

Why the pano practice screen is good is because even when the golfer uses a point on the ground instead of the ball as their position waypoint they still need to roll the head with the spine to re-establish orientation with the horizon, which is why you only hit into a net it should have a "horizon" line on it where you'd normally see the horizon off the tee.

When setting up for a straight shot, if with heels straddling on 9 on a clock face with ball in the center of the face |9 >o the ball will fly directly over the 12 on the clock. 6-12 is the target line and the stance line established by the heels.

Why heels not toes? Because if you flare the front foot and align toes parallel to the target line heels will be pointing right at 1 o'clock not 12. You might pull the shoulders and hips parallel at address || but in the free moving swing the hips and shoulders will align with where the heels are pointing and sent the ball right on the 7 - 1 line (with ball staying in the center of the clock face in this visualization. Why? The heels are actually closed to the 6-12 line /|

When intentionally wanting to hit a DRAW where the ball starts on the 7-1 line then curves back left to the 6-12 line? Move heels from 9 to 10 to close the stance 30°, adjust face back towards but not directly at the 6-12 target line **but swing 100% committed down the 7-1 heel line.

Here's were this ties together with flying in the clouds IFR and pano screen. At the end of the swing as the eyes swing up on to find the horizon in the finish they need to come up seeking a new point of reference parallel to the 7-1 line the heels were on and the body parts automatically came into alignment.

The golfer using the pano screen would find some tree to the right of 12, the target to curve the ball back to. Not the line the ball starts on, which is influenced by face angle not stance, but a point through the ball parallel to how the heels are set (/ ./ ) relative to the ball sitting, in this clock face visualization model on the center of the clock face.
