It's almost like this whole scenario proves our point

I have severe Crohns Disease where I’m probably going to need 90% of my large intestines to be removed this year. Tons of foods give me a lot of pain - the sad part is I actually love eating vegetables, but not so much when they feel like glass shards going through my digestive system. Anything green or leafy is a roll of the dice that could end with me shitting blood by the end of the day.

Soy also irritates me, which unfortunately means something like tofu is also out. (And before anyone says anything, I know Google says soy is good for Crohn’s - but that’s not the case for me. The disease can vary quite a bit from person to person)

Eggs, chicken, and salmon are my go-tos that I eat on a daily basis because they’re close to the only foods that I can reliably tolerate. If anyone knows of vegan alternatives I’m all ears.
