The majority of rapes happen between women and someone they already know, I wouldn’t call that hunting. Women make decisions that don’t equate to higher earnings, it’s not discrimination. They choose to go into fields that pay less, they take time off to have children, etc. It’s not to say that these are not valid decisions— not everything is money. If I have the option someday I will forgo my career to stay home and raise my family, if I later reenter the workforce I would not expect to be paid the same as a man who stayed in the workforce those years. That being said, markets do efficiently distribute wealth, and women with equal skill sets to men will make as much as men.
