Alright CRT, I'm in the market for a new bike. What would you get between an r6, gsxr600, cbr600rr, or the ninja and why?

Sup, I just creeped on ya so I know your last bike was an SV.

I surprisingly haven't ridden any of those, but I can tell you about how my later bikes compared to my old SV, which was kinda my main bike as a wee lad. Might help you make a decision.

After the SV came the Aprilia Falco, I paid $3300. A 1000cc V-twin, 90hp, ~500 pound touring style bike. No power wheelies, heavy as fuck, and you didn't want to ride hard for fear of dropping it because it was so pretty. Fuck that bike. Only had fun with it on the 1000 mile road trip I did where my average speed was 113mph. Don't buy a liter bike as your only bike! I mean you can, but I'm telling you it's boring in any situation below 60mph. If the 80+mph traffic slalom is the fun you're seeking, any of the four (besides the Ninja, cheaply built piece of crap) you mentioned would be perfect.

I traded the Falco for a supermoto with a Yamaha Raptor 660 engine. Felt so similar to the SV in terms of weight and power, which was bad because heavy is bad. But I fell in love with sumos then and there and learned that all the things I feared in motorcycle riding like wet leaves and gravel don't exist as hazards in the sumo rider's eyes. It's a whole different world of riding compared to the conventional sport biker's and I would definitely consider it over something like an R6. But get something light and universally well-regarded like a DRZ400 or something.

And then came the Grom/SV1000S combo. Wouldn't have either bike as my only bike, but as a team it works pretty well. I Grom it up nearly 80% of the time I ride, and when I'm feeling that itch I take the 120hp machine out of the garage. I really only need to go 150mph once a week or so, I don't know about you.

TL;DR: Get a supermoto, you don't have any idea what you're missing out on.
