Finish school. I’ve spent 6 years in, made Staff my first go and I’m getting out next year to go back to school and get my RN. The bullshit just outweighs the benefits for me. People are going to chime in and throw numbers around about pay and healthcare and the same shit the recruiter is going to tell you. Guess what, it’s the same shit they tell you in a mandatory briefing when you’re a year out from your DOS.

It’s honestly such a crap shoot. Chances are you’ll end up in a shitty career field surrounded by smooth brains.

I’ll always recommend the AF over any other branch, but I’ll always recommend staying a civilian over joining the military.
