When I was pregnant with our child, my ex said maybe we would consider spanking but something we would never ever do was hit our child in the face. Well, he was insufferable to live with and our relationship didn't last much longer than our kiddo's 3rd birthday. He talked back at the dinner table, and my ex's grandmother slapped him in the mouth. I wasn't there or I would've gone to jail for old lady abuse cuz I would've smacked her back, but my ex told me about it.
