Every thread there is some dude stating that it's other people getting offended for minorities and blah blah.

Like, no, I'd very much rather have a latino character the way they are now rather than go back to the 90s/80s where every latino is a gang member or maid and have my nieces and nephews growing up around the implication that their ethnicity is lower class. I don't care if people don't like Spanglish or think it's cringe because they live on some other part of the planet and don't hear people actually talk that way.

It really does feel like people are trying to erode positive representation by astroturfing this idea that minorities don't actually want it.
