I hired a local pro last year after using turbo tax for years. It cost $110 to have him file the 1040-SR for my late father (it's like the EZ form but for seniors). I plan to use this same person to file my own 2020 taxes as well as those for my father and his estate.

The best part about having a pro do my taxes is that I don't have to spend hours combing the internet or the TT help section trying to find answers to my questions. It was really nice to have a professional I could reach out to and rely on. Granted, 2020 was a very odd year financially for me, and I'll probably use online software once I"m back to a 1040-EZ, but I highly recommend a local pro if you have a "more complicated" tax situation.
