Alums, does anyone else regret joining their particular fraternity?

In some ways, yes.

The fraternity I joined had a good brotherhood, but weak everything else.

Unfortunately, I didn’t pick up on this until after I accepted my bid.

When I joined, the frat was going through a tough transition period (moving into a new house in a worse location), but the future still looked bright. The older guys seemed really cool, and my pledge class was excited about the fact that we were gonna be the first pc in the new house.

However, it all went downhill from there. Semester after semester, our rush chairs would fuck up and hand out bids to anyone and everyone towards the end of rush week, and that would make most of the good kids drop.

At this point, their numbers are weak, they’re struggling to pay the bills, and they’re about to go under.

Damn shame.
