No doubt, but we’ve gotten a bit cynical about our “Manufacturing Consent” culture. They used it in Vietnam, used it in the build up to the Iraq War. Whenever we all of a sudden an increase in Media articles critical of another country we’ve come to wonder why. When Trump first took office, China was our friend and Trade partner. In four years they have replaced Russia as our main adversary, with Iran gaining ground. All of the articles are probably right and point out flaws. It’s only the number and timing that causes a raised eyebrow.
