I always though the Betty was easily one of the best looking spaceships in the series and an underappreciated starship design in sci fi in general. Who else loves how her?

Loved it as a child. Real models, practical effects, interesting costumes, and total cheese all around. Add to that... a low budget, British, cop drama, and you got SPACE PRECINCT! 2040!

I always liked the beginning of Alien Resurrection, but I hated where it went. The ships and the setting were terrific! The director is one of my favorites, but his humor was not appropriate for the film. Other family members think the entire franchise is ripe for humor and loved the camp approach. To really add insult, I felt the star "alien" was just plain stupid, dumb, and nothing to be scared of.

Of course, as an Alien fan, I'm just glad they made another movie. I will always buy a ticket.
