I am 15 years old and I think I have depression.

first, it's not appropriate to try to diagnose you over the Internet SO here's what id recommend:

-can you talk to parents and/or family support figures abt it? (the thing i think back to after so many years is i wish i told my parents how i was feeling and i might have avoided some of the worst parts of my teens) -do you have access to medical care? if not, Google around there may be free resources out there depending on where you live/ some geared toward youth -get a diagnosis! i can't stress this enough, in my experience it does no good to stress yourself out and wallow around a self-diagnosis found on a support board online -do not be afraid to see a psychologist/therapist with the caveat that if you don't click with the first doctor you see don't let that sour your view of mental health professionals (ive had many different doctors and got lucky with my current one who rly gets me) -many can and do respond well to combinations of medication and/or therapy, get help!

lastly, if you have depression this may be a long road, it is difficult and doesn't necessarily get better, recovery takes time, these symptoms may wax and wane over the years but you can still achieve goals you want for yourself, you can still be happy, but with this illness it will sometimes kick your ass, that is okay, don't give up, you can get through it
