Honestly, my husband has volunteered his sperm for use by a married couple that we’re friends with, with my blessing. In a typical private sperm donation agreement, paperwork is signed to protect all parties. She’s not having his baby, he’s enabling her and her partner to have a child of their own together. In most cases, unless they all agree to coparenting, he won’t be in that child’s life or responsible for it in any way.Donor sperm from a clinic is expensive. A single vial can run up to $1000+ with shipping. I don’t think it is unreasonable for her to ask her coworker/friend about donating. You are allowed to feel the way you feel, but maybe you should take a closer look at why you are feeling that way... are you wanting children now? Do you guys have some sort of 5-10 year plan that includes children?
