Hello, I am a 19-year-old fan of the horror genre. You say you met Johnny Depp on the day he got his first acting job, which was A Nightmare on Elm Street in 1984. How did this meeting come about? Were you auditioning for Elm Street as well?

Elm Street, despite being a very successful horror film, was the second highest grossing horror film that year, behind only Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, in which you starred.

You were indeed interviewed for the Crystal Lake Memories book, but your answers, as opposed to other cast members, seemed to be somewhat indirect, I feel, which in my experience of fandom and researching, tends to the be the case among actors who reach a certain level of fame + success afterward. Do you not prefer horror films, or talking about Friday the 13th? It would've been a real treat to see you interviewed for the 7-hour documentary, and as a fan, it's a shame you passed.

If you could talk more elaborately about your experience on the film, I'd appreciate that as well. You worked closely with Camilla Moore and Lawrence Monoson, who seems to have nothing but kind, vivid memories of you and your improvisation. Same with Judie Aronson. How were these actors, along with Peter Barton, Alan Hayes, etc., to work with? Corey Feldman has also admitted to have admired you a great deal, seeing you as somewhat of a James Dean figure. What are your opinions of him, and of director Joseph Zito?

Also, please... please tell us about the wicked dance you perform in the film. Apparently it was improv.

And finally... would you ever attend a horror convention for the sake of reuniting with your co-stars/admiring the memories?

Forgive me for the pestering, horror fans tend to be a bit more.. technical. Thank you sir.
