I am an English teacher teaching a Video Game as Literature class this fall

I took a couple video game based English classes when I was in college. I'll list off what I can remember playing/reading/watching.

Stanley Parable Sword and Sorcery Her Story Firewatch Journey Shelter Thomas was Alone Ready Player One

Dark Souls The Last of Us Girl with all the Gifts (movie, not book) City of Thieves The Veldt Children of Men Everything Meanwhile by Jason Shiga

I know there were other games and books but I can't remember anymore. First set was in the introductory class, second set was in the higher level class. There was also a textbook for the second class and other curated stories/articles that the professor put together. I know not all of these will work for you, but it can be done! I'd really recommend not just looking at the story telling in the game, but also tying it into a related book or story. For example, I remember TLOU, Girl with all the gifts, and City of Thieves we're all in the same section and we're compared and contrasted in our essay for that section.
