I am Andrew Yang, U.S. 2020 Democratic Presidential Candidate, running on Universal Basic Income. AMA!

Hi Andrew! Thank you for doing this! I absolutely love your ideals and modern propositions for our country. I know of your plans of implementing a Value-added Tax for large corporations, especially those that will be benefiting from AI. However, I don't believe I saw anything on adjusting the marginal tax? I personally believe that people making $600,000+ being taxed the same amount is absurd. How can it be that someone making $60 million per year can be taxed the same as someone making $600,000? I know a lot of those people worked hard for their money and I won't discredit them, but it makes no sense to me that these 6-figure workers should have a much larger fraction of their earnings taken away than those with 8 figure salaries. I was also wondering how you felt about training officers to use non-lethal weapons and having a gun as a last resort option? I've read some research about how non-lethal weapons, while eliminating cases of unjust fatalities (from both the civilian and the officer), may significantly decrease criminal rates. I say this because I know that is big incentive of yours. Best of luck with your campaign, Andrew! I am rooting for you!
