So I am the barista who put the stickers on the logo and had like a dozen articles written about me by Huffington Post, Cosmo, Mashable, on the Yahoo front page, ETC ETC. Just to clear some stuff up...

Thank you for writing this. The company touts itself as this great place to work, etc, etc, but it asks a lot of its employees and then gives "competitive pay" which is basically bare minimum. Not only that, but as much as it expects of its employees... to do something like the labor cuts we've been experiencing lately is a huge slap in the face. I had to stay an hour and a half past my shift yesterday because we were so short staffed. I'm a full time student during the school year, a single mom, and I got the job to help pay for daycare while I'm in school and also so that I could half insurance. What's sad is that even full time work would qualify us for food stamps (which we have). Over the summer I should have been working 35-40 hours a week because my availability opened up and we lost two partners. Instead, we have had devastating labor cuts, we are all so stressed out at work that we want to kill each other, and we aren't even able to take time to talk to our regulars (not that we had much time before, but even saying hello is difficult now). This company likes to act like it's great and cares about it's partners. But I cannot wait to find something new. Until this changes, I'll be looking everywhere.
