I live in PA, the swingiest of swingstates. So, no, my vote matters a lot. Swing states account for a significant portion of the electoral college. Not to mention, states that were previously solid are now shifting. Georgia, Arizona, and Texas for instance. This is an abnormal election, conventional voting be damned.
Outside of swing states, you have a good point. The electoral college determines winners, not the popular vote. So I suppose that if you know your vote won't matter eaither way, using it to support a candidate you like causes no harm -_-. The funding helps too, however, you're saying this as if it isn't common knowledge and nore do most serious people think Jo will make the mark. You guys do your thing though, couldn't hurt.
