I am going into depression

Nothing wrong with leaving the city. You literally have all of the states!

I moved two hours away for grad school as my way of getting away. I didn't even know how to cook rice, lol. I survived off of junk food for a good 6 months because I was suicidal and didn't care to learn.

Fast forward to now - I can cook almost anything from around the world. I learned a LOT about how the world works and how to be a functional and independent member of society. I've made LGBTQ girl friends that are more similar to me in terms of being tomboy ish and fostered dogs (because I always loved the idea of it). I've partied, participated in plenty of cool things, learned how to dance properly. I'm sharing this to show you how things can change.

While it won't be easy at first, it'll be well worth it. That's guaranteed.
