Am I gonna hate myself for picking a non-STEM major?

I’m a transfer who attended App State back in 2009. I dropped out to work for a few years. I will be at UNCC in the fall (finally) finishing my bachelor’s.

My advice: major in what interests you most, but MINOR in something like math or computer science. If you have the time and persistence for a double major, even better.

As someone who’s been in the workforce for a while now, I realize that following your interests will lead you to a career that’s a good fit (even if you don’t have any idea what you want right now). Adding practical, quantitative skills like math and computer science will signal to employers that you’re hardworking, smart, and useful. Take advantage of it now and take the classes.
