I can appreciate the anger, it can be quite frustrating to live here. We’ve lost two houses in the last 20 years, the price of living is going up, and our infrastructure is dog shit…But I love this city, it’s unlike any other city in the U.S.

I have no doubt I will miss it when I’m gone, two houses gone, one fucked up pretty bad. I refuse to live through another of those experiences. So, it seems to be the time to go. I have a little left to go through with my education and with that I cannot help but think it’s time to leave.

This city has been always been my home and in a way it always will be; but I cannot take the heartbreak, financial or otherwise, of continuing to live here.
