I am looking for the perfect planbook.

I am a 2nd Grade Teacher, and very invested in technology. I also have tried, what I know of as, all the Planbooks in the world out there. I am looking for other options that people have found to be the BEST.

I don't do paper planner's, I lose paper. (obviously there are things that are needed to be paper, such as sub plans, and other materials)

I have done extensive research on online planners, and cannot seem to find one single one that meets all of my needs. (I know just choose one and accept it, but I don't think I have seen them all) I would love to design one, if I were that technologically inclined. • Xcel My FIRST try. Although it looked FANTASTIC, (to me) the lack of real time calendar was a pain. We all make mistakes, I, more than others, and sending them to my director weekly was a pain. This is what I have for it. • I have used [Planbookedu.com](planbookedu.com) for a year. LOVE the collaboration, and sharing once with my director side of it. As well as the standards, and the straight grid for classes. DISLIKE the colors and look. It is boring.

• [Planbook.com](planbook.com) is alright. Nothing I would write home about.

Planbook app by Jeff Hellman was okay, it struggled syncing. iPad to Mac via Dropbox. I also asked the creator – Jeff to incorporate a line or to hold the lesson in a locked place, but he said that that was how it was originally, and too many consumers/teachers wanted it the other way. ie. middle school/high school teachers are more common users. KUDOS to all of you! :)

As an elementary teacher, I have recess, lunch, gym, art, and any special at a certain time. I would like a small bar that reflects that. I would like to type in a box that doesn't alter the size of the the lesson. ie. Staggering the rest of the lessons. If I teach math at one time, it should be a solid line across the plan. Not moving.

• I have recently used planboard. - How do all of you feel about this one? What are the benefits. I love the mini calendar, material design, and the sticky notes on the side. I like that it doesn't elongate your lesson plans. Maybe this is what I am looking for?

Common Curriculum - Google App - My favorite thus far, with a few things I would add. The support team though was VERY awesome in response.

So here are my hopes and dreams:

A Lesson Planner that: * times reflected on the side * is customizable- with colors and fonts * Lessons can be locked in a certain spot ie. a specific time reflected across the week. * my specials ie. recess, art, lunch, any other, are shown as a small bar in the plan. The blank space can be blank space.

I am linking lesson Plans I have made in Xcel. Although, they were from when, I was not a GAFE member yet, so they don't reflect in entirety what I a meaning. Close enough. I know I could just use Xcel, but I don't want to save every week separately and update the date, email my director, change the formatting EVERY LESSON PLAN. Or search my computer for last years lesson plans.

I would just love to go have my standards, colors (those make me happy as a teacher), and a standard base plan to work with off of a calendar. An ACTUAL calendar that was able to integrate into Google.

Gotta go for now, but I will be back to update with images and descriptions.
