Why am I matched with a Prestige 78, KDA 3.06 player when I'm Prestige 2, KDA 0.99?

How big of a player base do you think they have compared to each other? The simple fact is hunt doesn't have the players for fully equal lobbies, it prioritizes filling 1st ELO 2nd. Your platinum is completely irrelevant here it's not an accurate comparison at all. Hunt isn't even close to that level of a competitive game, it's more of a sandbox letting you play how ever you want. It's not an arena shooter. The simple fact is you're going to be matched with higher and lower elos untill to player base gets big enough, and it's on that trajectory. You can make up all the excuses as to why you got killed by a more skilled player all you want but the facts really are that simple. I'm sure you won't be complaining when there's a brand new guy in your game and you absolutely destroy him though, funny how people always cry about elo but only when they get killed by a better player.

Since you rather make up excuses like blaming prestige/kd ect than simply look up how it works I'll do you a solid and explain it for you. It's a point based system, everybody starts on the same points, say 1000. ALL that effects it is who you kill, and who kills you. That is is. Nothing else. You gain points for kills, you lose them for dying. The difference in elo increases the gain/loss drastically. Say a 600 kills 1800, that 600 will gain a huge amount and the 1800 will lose a huge amount. I have 3.8kd and been equal elo with as low as 1.8, maybe they were having a great day and I was having a bad one. Point being it's super flexible.

To reiterate, prestige does NOT effect elo. Your KD does not effect elo, stop with these nonsense comments making excuses as to why you died to someone better at the game you're just confusing other people that don't understand it. Also love that you down vote when you get told why you're wrong, also super petty like the other dude, hope ya learned something though genuinely
