Am I naive, or just too optimistic?

IMO a Recession will help fill in available jobs, and put the economy back in place. Back in 08 you could be fresh out of college and would have a line at a KFC for job interviews. With the amount of people working from home most companies want folks back in office. Plus the large amount of jobs out there not being filled (like hotel iobs for example) if a scenario in which we have to try to get any kind of work we can comes to fruition it can actually help the economy recover. Quality of employees will get better with people fearing they can lose their jobs.

But I will be honest I don't think this generation understands how bad a recession can be. You are in survival mode and could care less about investing and more on how can I ensure that my family has food on the table and are the lights still on.
