I am Noel Gallagher. AMAA.

Before I ask my question I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the music you have created throughout the years and the pleasure they have provided me with.

I also want to thank you for introducing me to other artists which you consider to be your favourite musicians (Basically a seal of approval). Bands such as The Kinks, T.Rex, Sex Pistols, The Smiths and The Stone Roses (The latter I was lucky enough to see live when they returned to Glasgow Green in 2013). Sadly I haven't had any luck when trying to get tickets to see you as I've tried both times High Flying Birds have came to Glasgow but they sold out within minutes but I'll see you if I go to T in the park this summer.

More importantly I would like to thank you for being an inspiration to me and many others around the world. When I first began to listen to Oasis, I had just become a teenager and lived in a tower block in a council estate in Glasgow and was beginning to think that I would be hopelessly stuck her forever. One day I decided to read the up on the story of how Oasis came about which led to me watching documentaries that covered the subject and also delved into you and your brother's upbringing/ childhood. Afterwards I was impressed and inspired by how successful you had became under such difficult circumstances similar to that of mine at the time and showed me that anything could be achieved and that your background no matter how difficult, isn't an obstacle. Your songs also provided a soundtrack for my new found confidence at that time and still provide even to this day.

Apologies about the prologue, I didn't plan on writing that much. Now for the questions.

  1. Are there any upcoming unorthodox collaborations you can tell us about? prime previous example being with The Chemical Brothers
  2. Any Mancunian insider intel on The Stone Roses releasing a new album?
