Am I the only one crazy enough to think this delay is good news?

Look, here's the thing, this news to people here seems to be, "this game is now going to be better than it was before!"

But here's the problem: I actually legit trusted Tabata. Like, they had 10 years. They made a big event for the release date. I was sure that they chose this release date after being 100% absofuckinglutely sure that the game will be perfect for that release date.

This news is not troublesome to me just because it's delayed (though the delay is bad, since for me it means i wont be able to play the game until February.)

This news is troublesome to me because they've introduced a new factor, which is that the whole "this game is totally perfect and ready to go" belief I had is false.

The game AS OF THIS MOMENT, is not good enough for release. And we have to count on them to fix that in two months. And I don't know if I trust them to do that in two months.

basically what this news introduced is that we thought we had a pretty much finished game, and now we don't. And that's scary as hell and worrying.

So that's what I have to say all the people who think this 2 month delay means the game will be even better. My response is that the delay is proof that the game -- as of right now, and as it will be on September 30th -- is not good enough for release. And whether it will be good enough for release in November remains to be seen, but this is not in any way good news. This is bad news. This is bad news regarding the state of the game right now.

That's all.

I am not angry or pissed or anything. I'm just disappointed. After all the announcements, I really trusted them that they have it figured out and perfect this time. And this is just admitting that they don't. Maybe they will by November, but maybe they won't, and that's what scares me.
