Those decisions are 110% not made by EA. Respawn devs themselves have outright stated on multiple occasions that they are in full control of those aspects of the game

You’re just moving the blame where it objectively does not belong. The people you’re making excuses for have blatantly stated these are their choices

Even though we know the specifics of this relationship, in 99% of publisher relationships the publisher is not making decisions about hardware or tick rate. They likely have some say in budgeting but if you think some executives are gambling their job on making decisions on things they have no knowledge or experience in then you just lack a basic understanding of the business relationship
