Am I the only one who wants to talk about Boy A having the hallmarks of a genuine developing psychopath?

ya, i understand. what was reported about the case was focused on Boy B, perhaps because the court case itself focused on Boy B, or perhaps there was some reason the media were blocked from reporting on details surrounding Boy A.

let's assume that the reporting reflected, for the most part, the actual court case ... so the court case was mostly focused on Boy B. why ? because the case against Boy A was all sewn up and water tight, thanks largely to the evidence on his clothes and in his home - he did not destroy it. perhaps because he had no opportunity (had he not created a fictitious crime to explain his injuries, his parents may not have gone out of their way to preserve the evidence that ended up convicting him of committing a far more heinous crime than the one he invented)

so the jury had to be convinced of Boy B's participation, which is why the court case centred on him. and since the reporting certainly centred on him, it stands to reason the discussion is centred on him.

as far as which Boy is clearly the 'psycho' ... certainly the evidence against Boy A makes it easy to reach that conclusion on his character. but as far as Boy B goes, he could just as easily be as much of a 'psycho' ... perhaps even more profoundly sociopathic. can't rule it out just because a murder kit, for example, wasn't found in his home. do you believe Boy B wouldn't have destroyed evidence if given the opportunity ? i don't. I'm not saying he is a 'psycho' btw ... I'm saying i am not willing to rule it out just because a murder kit, for example, wasn't found in his home. i don't take a lying, self-serving cunt's testimony at face value ... so i don't buy his narrative nor do i believe that absence of evidence is evidence of absence. what i know about Boy B is he didn't report a rape & murder to the gardai (taking his 'wrong place wrong time' plea of innocence at face value for the sake of argument), and when snared by the gardai he invented lie, after lie, after lie ... day, after day, after day ... and he invented these new lies each time a new nugget of evidence was presented to him that both proved his last story to be a lie and at the same time linked him even further to the actual murder itself.

certainly possesses some of the hallmarks of a sociopath.
