Am I the only one who can't wrap my head around the 911 call in this case?

You are not the only one.. it has perplexed me since day one. I also read scenario 1: roommates run out of the house in hysteria and one passes out and the other can’t verbalize what they saw so neighbor/passer by calls 911 reports the unconscious person while walking into the house then stumbles on crime scene. Scenario 2: Roommates wake up and go upstairs and see some blood in common areas and doors are locked and they know something is off but haven’t actually seen victims so they call some friends over. Once friends arrive they agree something is seriously wrong and then call 911. I could get behind either of these scenarios however, there has been rumors about E being in the hallway, if that is the case it’s hard for me to wrap my head around them at that point calling friends vs 911. I understand people will say you don’t know how you would react in that situation but I would hope I would have the wherewithal to call 911 if I stumbled on a bloody murder. Rumors of the killer being sloppy have also been out there not sure yet exactly what that means but I interpret that to mean extremely bloody, but if victims truly were killed in bed it’s definitely possible majority of blood would be confined to the bedrooms not common areas, but there still had to be some blood in common areas right unless the killer was super careful but that would go against the sloppy rumor.

Was it confirmed the first floor roommates slept together in one room after hearing noises? I read that their doors were both locked but then I read they bunked together that night. I can understand hearing something and locking your door (I was in a sorority and lived in a party house) and going back to sleep assuming roommates are just having an after party or something. But if I was so scared of what I heard that I had to sleep with my roommate I feel like thats a little concerning. If they bunked together because they were scared… like what exactly did they hear and why didn’t they do something more than just lock the door and fall back asleep? I do not suspect either roommate just trying to make sense of it all… but that’s the thing about this case… nothing makes sense!
