Am I the only one who finds the UBI future rather bleak?

Thing is being realistic, UBI is ages away. I'm against it because instead of giving everyone a pittance I'd much rather the disabled could live a middle class life. Instead of them continuing to live on meager scraps while a bunch of a lay about able bodied people do jack shit.

I'm from poverty because my parents health went when I was young. As soon as I was an adult I was out of poverty. I don't need shit. Any able bodied person doesn't need shit outside of recessions and depressions. Give it to the cripples.

I find it absolutely disgusting how so many healthy people want money for nothing at the expense of those who can't work. There's finite money. Until the disabled are properly cared for it's reprehensible to be whinging about UBI in my opinion. Able bodied people aren't vulnerable. The disabled are. Get them sorted then move the milestone.
