I'm sorry, is not the current news story all over North America about measles and how it was spread by unvaccinated children at disney land? Because that's the reason the topic of vaccines is on everyone's mind. It's measles that I'm concerned about. It's measles that's threatening my family. And it's the measles vaccine that I will be going to get next week. So maybe you weren't talking about measles, but I was. So I'm not deflecting, I'm just refusing to go off my topic because I don't care if big pharma gets rich or that you dislike that fact. I care about the danger to the lives of people I love. That danger can be lessened by the MMR vaccine. That is my only concern at this very moment. So if you can't give me an actual reason to avoid that specific vaccine, I have nothing to talk to you about, because I started this topic with MMR in mind and every time I stated that fact YOU deflected with generalizing all vaccines and the effects of big pharma. I'm not going to debate something that I wasn't talking about to begin with. I agreed big pharma is a bastard who values profit over patients. I agree that there were very bad things in vaccines. Specifically, in the vaccine I am talking about, mercury. They removed the mercury from the MMR vaccine in 2000 I believe. You have not told me anything specific to what I'm talking about. If I want to talk about how Wolves are going extinct, and you start talking about lions in Africa, is it deflecting to say I'm talking about wolves?

So I'm sorry if you want a debate where you can bury me with your trigger facts, but, in the beginning, I was actually asking if you had any information specific to the MMR vaccine that would convince me not to get the shot. You haven't. You just told me big pharma is a bad guy and that some vaccines have bad things in them. So if you can't say "studies show that people who have receive MMR vaccine have a _% higher likelihood of __________ disease" or "they use this deadly chemical in it which is proven to do __________" I'm sorry, I'm not interested. I want looking for you to change my mind about vaccines, I was wondering if you had specific relevant info I didn't about the dangers of that specific vaccine, because of you and everyone else can't do that, why do we have people in quarantine because of a preventable disease if you can't give me a logical, provable reason why it is more dangerous to take the MMR vaccine than if is to risk exposing the population to a disease that should be gone. If they cure cancer, will you boycott that vaccine too, just because? Or would you take it unless someone could prove to you that it was more dangerous than cancer? No one has provided proof to me that MMR vaccine (specifically) is more dangerous than measles, therefore there is no reason in can see why my family is in danger when there is a cure.
So you can talk to anyone else about anyone you want. But if you're going to continue a conversation with me, it's about the measles outbreak and the MMR vaccine. Don't want to talk about that, don't talk, move on. I've got nothing better to do atm, but I'm assuming you might, so feel free to end this conversation.
