Am I the only person in the country who is happy with both President Obama and President Trump?

You do realize it takes approximately 4 years for a president's policies to cause much change, right? The things we're experiencing now are still from Obama. I genuinely believe this is how Republicans get elected at all. Good policies carry over into the next term and get attributed to the current president.

We had Reagan then Bush and things stayed shitty until Clinton's second term which was amazing. Then Bush again and things were kind of OK for his first term because we were still seeing the effects from Clinton's second term. Then GW's 2nd term is when things went to hell. Obama's first term wasn't super great because he was dealing with the shit Bush caused. Then Obama's 2nd term went well and now people are giving credit for those residuals to Trump.

Mark my words: I promise whoever comes next will seem terrible for the country because they're cleaning up Trump's mess - let's say it's Sanders for the sake of argument - and if he gets a second term it will be great. Then a republican will step in on his coattails and get credit for the prosperity from his final policies. Repeat ad nauseum.
