I am poor and disabled, I went in to ER for a kidney stone anyone wana guess how I was treated?

Shit. This does sound like a pro tip for me.

The entire time all I felt was “why can’t anyone take me seriously and help.” I would have done anything to be helped. ANY THING

I won the pain lottery and have chronic kidney stones. So not my first rodeo, they absolutely ignore you. Whatever enables that to be a thing is hurting so many innocent people not pretending to be there for pills….

And even if they were, those people need help as well. Drug addiction is so often mixed with people with legit chronic physical and mental pain.

Sometimes, What some people see as a person who “deserves” their fate because they “made bad choices”. Are many times actually people with significant health issues that use drugs to cope because we don’t take these people seriously or value them in this society enough to give them medical resources. We then use the drugs as proof to wall them up in our Franchise-able McPrison system owned by some fuck stick and exploit their labor and make profit somehow.

It would take a truly great author to come up with a world more dystopian and cruel than this one..

And I don’t even know half of what some poor souls go through.

If you don’t think so, it’s possible you haven’t experienced what so many others have and I’m happy that you havnt. Keep hope alive, and cherish what you have now.
