I am ready to find someone through arranged marriage

Hey! Thanks for sharing your story. I think at the end of the day we all have a choice. For you, it might mean going against your society, and still, that is a choice. Initially, I told my parents that I would never get married, and that scared the hell out of them. Then I told them I would marry anyone I like doesn't matter what religion or country they are coming from. Even though they tried convincing me why I should be marrying within my country and community, they eventually gave up and said I am free to choose whoever I want to. Then the pandemic hit, I returned home, and I am not sure when I will be able to our there in the world again and get the chance to search for love. And given I am 26, I am already expected to find a husband. Unless I can get out of this country, I don't see any way out of finding love. I don't really want to do an arranged marriage but then here we are. Life is pretty unpredictable.
