Your mom sounds kind of.. narcissistic or something similar to that tbh. She guilted you and shamed you because you forgot to give a card. That's an overreaction to say the least. Love and appreciation is best shown with actions and words, not pointless pieces of paper with puns printed on them. If she was being genuine about this she would have been at most disappointed that you forgot. She wouldn't be blaming and using words to label you negatively. I've without a doubt in my mind, especially from the way you're acting/typing this out that you've been nothing but great to your dad. and for some reason or another you mom chooses to shame you over something so little.
