I am seriously considering becoming a libertarian. could some more knowledgeable people on the subject answer some of my questions?

  1. do (not personally but as a whole) you believe in a strong national defense/security?

I can only speak for myself. I believe the role of defense can be achieved through voluntary institutions.

2.would you say libertarianism is more left leaning or right leaning?

There are elements of both but I don’t think the whole left/right axis is very sensible, libertarian/authoritarian is a better way to look at it.

  1. do you believe in a big or small government?

No government at all. I used to be a minarchist but now I’m a full on anarcho capitalist.

  1. did you grow up a libertarian or recently switch?

I used to be a libertarian leaning conservative.
