I am a 'star-kid' and I do not know how to feel about it.

I feel for you buddy. I know things aren't even half as messed up in my life, but I do relate to your "perfect family" facade, the pretentiousness that maintaining the image entails, the expectations to be someone you're not and the lack of actual friends (heck, up till class 10 I had to be the kind of "friend" you describe here for the sake of my benefit. And it only got me the same kind of friends in return).

Depending upon who you are/how famous you are, you only way is to completely cut ties with the people and the lifestyle you aren't happy with. This can be just avoiding them as much as possible, or completely severing all relations whatsoever; you be the judge. Yeah, it will be "scandalous", it'll be difficult, but you need to explore yourself first, to know who you are before you handle any of the unnecessary drama in your life. And quit social media if possible, 'cause you know, paparazzi.
