Am I supposed to feel hungry?

That is the biggest struggle of dieting. Some foods sustain you better than others. I found the magical food for helping me lose weight is lentils. I would get up every morning and dump about 1000 cal of lentils (350 grams) into a pan of water. I would Add salt and pepper and dice up some tomato, onion, and garlic for flavor. Boil for about 35 to 40 minutes and drain. I would just divide that into three meals a day and allot myself another 300 cal of whatever I wanted daily. I struggle really bad when dieting. I’ll be going good for half a day and then I’ll go to the gas station and get a pint of ice cream and devour it. Lentils would always keep me very full and keep my blood sugar stable.
