Am I in the wrong for my behaviour here. I would like honesty.

Had similar things with consultants, as student also, sometimes they see something they don't like and decide that you're not good enough for them, for me it was because I was wearing my name badge but it had that I was a HCA on it (as well as my NHS med student badge of course). Consultant anaesthetist decided to take it all out on me and shamed me in front of all theatre staff and nurses, no one stood up for me so I walked out and said I wasn't taking it anymore.

I'm up for a good grilling too from a learning point of view and have a hard shell too, this is the only time I've ever cried on placement. But it was personal and made me feel so small.

Please don't be a bystander in situations like this, students are already wondering how to get through their studies in the current living crisis.

Honestly they just have nothing better to do than wield their power over you
