Being a parent is an amazing gift from God that will absolutely change your life. It's made me become closer to God as well. Just because I'm constantly praying for my 2 boys (4months and 16months) and for me as well, that God gives me the knowledge and wisdom to guide them as they get older.
I was once afraid too, the world is backwards right now. But give it a chance. There are so many people longing to have children who can't and if you are able to, I highly recommend you go for it. You are never really ready to become a parent but God will take care of you and your family!
