Yes, you're wrong in this relationship. Marriage is not supposed to keep score, or even be a "meet me half way" kind of thing. It is supposed to be 100/100. You -both- must give your all because it can be hard work sometimes and if one of you is lacking purely out of selfishness, then your marriage will not be a happy one. And if you're ready to throw her away over money, oh honey, I hope you don't get married because then you both would be trapped in a terribly hard and stressful marriage. I can see why she doesn't want to fork up the cash. You have treated her with disrespect. As for living together before you are actually married, you should probably take a good long look and see if marriage is something you really want. Whether it is or isn't, do right by her. Get off this entitled platform you made for yourself and do better.

Although, I will say that I'm sorry that your lizard is not doing so well. Pets are an extended family member, and I hope that it gets better soon.

Lord Jesus, I pray that OP will see that his actions were not conducted out of love, but out of selfishness and desperation for his lizard. I pray that you will show him that there is a much better way to live and that is to put you first, God. I pray also, for his lizard, an innocent bystanding creature amidst all of this drama. Amen.
