Hi Chris! Thanks for doing this AMA. I’m local to SLO and just wanted to personally thank you for your dedication to Kristin’s memory and the Smart family. Some things that are on my mind after finishing up the latest podcast episodes: 1. Ermelinda and Brett are divorced; have you tried reaching out to Brett? What is do you think is keeping him silent? Has anyone ever spoken to you about Brett and Paul’s relationship? 2. You mentioned Stan hearing from Ruben’s distant relative. Have you tried reaching out to anyone in Ruben or Susan’s extended family? 3. What do you think of the rumors that Kristen’s remains have been scattered somewhere in Huasna? I had also heard a rumor that a neighbor of Ruben’s captured some sort of video of Ruben, Mike, and Susan going under the deck the night that Kristin’s remains were removed. Do you think there’s any validity to that rumor, or is it just gossip? 4. Now that the Flores family has reached the beginning of the end, where is Dennis Mahon? I am surprised that someone who has advocated so hard for justice for Kristin has gone radio silent. 5. This question may be a bit out of the box, and I apologize in advance if it isn’t appropriate to ask/would require too speculative of an answer. Delving into Paul’s childhood made me really curious about the origin of Paul’s deviant behavior. Ruben clearly has a history of physical abuse, but have you come across any indication that someone may have sexually abused Paul during his childhood or adolescence? It’s so hard to reconcile with the idea that Paul as a kid and Paul the serial predator are the same person.
