Amazon Associates UK commission changes coming into effect from the 1st March 2019

Agreed. I feel like theres a bunch of grumpy executives sitting around a boardroom in Amazon offices worldwide complaining that they pay associates "too much".

The wild thing about their growth is the backlinks they aquired with their affiliate program. I don't have ahrefs or anything but I'd be curious how many backlinks amazon has (lots of people dont nofollow their links). They are so far ahead in the #1 position worldwide let's just hope they continue to see the value in paying a fair amount for all of us to promote them.

But honestly, there are lots of digital products and courses with way better rates then some physical (1%) products, I think most affiliate marketers move past amazon at some point to email list building and CPC or at least diversifying to other programs. Amazon is not the only affiliate game in town, though they are the best at physical products.
